“And yes, I’m passionately waiting, and I want you to know I’m in love.” The subtle harmonies that appear when he sings that part are infectious. The production has a pleasing sandpaper texture feel to it that saves it from being a within-the-box pop-R&B tune. In terms of the composition, the track feels a pinch repetitive, but that’s nothing to crucify it over. Then his vocals are neat. His accent’s pleasantly quirky. The instrumental works efficiently as well. We don’t have much to hate here, but I’d be dishonest to say that there’s much to go crazy over either.
Overall, the track is cool. With this single, I feel he did a decent job, comparable to some of the tracks on his Erotic Probiotic 2 release, which completely blew me away. I would recommend this for your indie romance playlists.
