This track opens with an experimental African music portion, then steadily transitions into a regular-tempo dance tune. The battle between the xylophones and the techno percussion is somewhat of a spectacle. The frequent interruptions in the track’s overall flow keep you guessing what next is about to jump at you throughout its seven-minute runtime.
The track is a solid electronic/experimental highlight from last year. It does feel like multiple entities clawing at each other, maybe not necessarily “foxes,” as the title implies.
