I’m tempted to just leave this review at “just go listen” and call it a day, but let me at least try to describe the sheer beauty of this track. Like the entirety of the album that houses it, the track is built primarily off samples. Before that sounds like an immediate turnoff, be reminded of the likes of Entroducing that probably had you squeaking with euphoria the first time you heard them. Los Thuthanaka, overall, I’d argue, might just stoke that exact sensation within you. This track deceives you into thinking it’s another run-of-the-mill DJ loop affair for the majority of its runtime, until its last three minutes swoop in like the opening of the floodgates to completely rapture your audio tastebuds.
This track, and basically the entirety of Los Thuthanaka overall, are highlights of the decade. I’m not just recommending you give this a listen; you practically need to give this entire project a listen.
